After eight years in executive search, Viveca sought experience working on the “client side”, and joined the Kinnevik Group, a Swedish multi-national company with holdings primarily in the telecoms and media industries. As Director of Human Resources for the Luxembourg based subsidiary Millicom
International Cellular, a mobile telephone company managing operations in emerging markets, she focused primarily on executive level staffing, development and compensation at both headquarters and country level. She subsequently took on the same HR role for the new Kinnevik start-up company Tele2 Europe, which offered low-cost long distance telephone services to the consumer market following deregulation in Europe.

Viveca is fluent in English, French, Dutch and Swedish and gets by in German and Luxembourgish. She currently lives in Westport, Connecticut with her husband and two sons. When not attending her sons' baseball and football games, she enjoys playing tennis and spends weekends skiing in Vermont during the winter season.
