Emily Caruso

Emily has extensive experience of Marketing, Communications and PR through her previous employment with Clarks International in Somerset.
Her career with the shoe giant began in 2001, working her way up to the role of Marketing Manager within the outlet retail sector, which controlled an annual turnover over £80million.

In March of 2008, she became a Commercial Yachtmaster and turned her love of sailing into a career. Having navigated thousands of miles in international waters, it was through her corporate work with Sir Robin Knox Johnston’s company
‘Clipper Ventures’ that Emily and Greening Partners were first brought together.

Emily continues her work in PR and Marketing through the section 21 non profit company ‘Soul of Africa’, an organisation that aims to provide ongoing sustainable employment for South African women affected by the HIV virus. In addition to this, Emily
is also an active volunteer board member of a Bristol Children’s charity that provides countryside holidays for underprivileged children, predominantly from the West Country.

Emily graduated from the University of Plymouth with an honours degree in Media & English, before spending a year travelling the world. As well as her passion for sailing, she is a qualified PADI Open Water Diver and has spent time studying the martial art
‘Wing Chun’. Emily currently resides in the West Country with her partner, where she enjoys a close proximity to her own boat and an active social life. Emily has a natural understanding of the need to nurture relationships, which alongside her professsional experience of brand development makes her an exciting and charismatic addition to the team.
